Submissions

Work from any department is eligible and nominations can come from faculty, advisors, or the students themselves. The competition is open to all Yale students, regardless of department. Entrants do not need to be members of the Club.

Submissions

By the deadline: Submit an electronic copy of no more than forty pages (not including thesis abstract, images, figures, and bibliography which may be attached)  of a completed paper or thesis by sending it as an email attachment to the Registrar for the Program in Renaissance Studies. Please use the subject line “Elizabethan Essay Prize, Undergraduate” or “Elizabethan Essay Prize, Graduate Student.” Papers received after 4 P.M. that day cannot be considered because of the tight deadlines under which the selection committees must operate.
